I had to do a quick search to make sure I am not losing my mind, but it seems like google has got itself a new favicon (a favicon, incidentally, is something this site currently does not have).

Well Google put my mind at ease as it was also being discussed on the google system blogspot.

Honestly, I prefer the old one. Stealing another blogger's sentiment, it's like New coke.

It is also closer to other 'g' favicons, such as the guardian.
