Mashal Radio - Screenshot Mashal Radio is an online radio broadcasting during the month of ramadan, both online, and through a more traditional FM Transmission on 106.7 FM for the local community.

The project was to create a simple website from where people could get information and also listen to the radio station. No real complicated functionality was needed, the client did not even want a playlist on the site - however some bells and whistles were set up such as live chat, an updates mailing list and a contact form.

The radio streaming is provided and handled by a third party through the client so it had no real impact on the site development.

The theme used is a slight modification of the Shallow Grunge theme available for Drupal.

Most of the module usage is self explanatory - Tribune provides the chat feature, Image allows the addition of image pages, img_assist, the embedding of those images into other pages, Mime Mail and Simple news for the updates mailing list, captcha for user verification on the contact form and views to provide the view in img_assist along with the press clippings page.
